A digital content campaign for Dislocations, an exhibition by the National Museum of Singapore marking the 80th anniversary of the British surrender on 15 February 1942.

Blending physical artefacts, oral histories, and immersive environments, the exhibition invites reflection on how war memory is remembered and retold. In support of this, our team developed interactive social content to extend the experience beyond the museum—creating five unique Instagram and TikTok stories that reimagined key moments from the war.

Rooted in real memories from the Japanese occupation, the series reimagines key moments through a contemporary lens to offer viewers an intimate glimpse into the past. Subtle animations breathe life into archival materials and historical scenes, while carefully layered sound design adds atmosphere and emotional weight—drawing audiences into the quiet tension, resilience, and lived realities of the era.
